I am a freelance journalist based in Brooklyn, New York. I write about reproductive rights, health, and justice. I've covered everything from protests against abortion clinics to forced interventions during childbirth. My work has appeared in Mother Jones, Huffington Post Highline, The Washington Post, NPR, Vice, The Guardian, Mosaic, Rewire, Wired, The Atlantic, Newsweek, Cosmopolitan, The Nation, The New Republic, Glamour, Buzzfeed, Fast Company, Mic. and KQED.

I am a fellow with the International Women's Media Foundation, the International Reporting Project, and The Investigative Fund.

In my previous lives, I studied English and Art History at Cornell University, served in the Peace Corps in Thailand, and wrote about startups in San Francisco.
